Training

I am available for training sessions with individuals and groups of all sizes. I have presented at local, national, and international conferences, as well as to small community groups and agencies. My areas of expertise include clinical work with those affected by trauma and violence, creating trauma-informed organizations, working with Latine clients, and non-profit advocacy, development, leadership, and support.

Topics include:

  • Trauma (various topics)

  • Building trauma-informed organizations

  • Sexual violence

  • Vicarious trauma, self-care, and staff care for real-world challenges

  • Using culturally resonant Latine traditions in grief and loss work

  • Creating community partnerships

  • Ethics, boundaries, and confidentiality for advocates

  • Facing client death: Ethics and emotions for helpers

Additionally, I offer individual clinical supervision to LMFT Associates working toward licensure.
